As many as 39 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 13 June /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,142 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 309 quick antigen tests and 39 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 255,797 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all cases of infection registered is among medical employees.

As many as 168 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 46 are in extremely serious condition (12 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

Another 77 people have been treated. As many as 248,671 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

In the context, 692 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 14,800 are under supervision at home.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another two deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,154 people have died of coronavirus in all.
