Operative information on carrying out of state social insurances budget in Moldova in first five months of 2021

Chisinau, 16 June /MOLDPRES/ - Revenues worth 12,171.1 million lei or 45.9 per cent of the annual plan established of 26,400.5 million lei, was collected in state social insurances budget the first five months of 2021, according to the operative report on the carrying out of the state social insurances budget, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Contributions of state mandatory social insurances amounting to 6,220.7 million lei were accumulated, which accounts for 41.3 per cent of the annual sum provided for – 15,080.1 million lei. This sum registered an increase of 720.1 million lei or 13.1 per cent against the concerned indicator carried out in the same period of the 2020 year.
Other revenues were collected in the state social insurances budget, amounting to 108.8 million lei, of which the major part, 107.2 million lei, represented the share of the single tax collected from the residents of the parks for information technology.
The transfers from the state budget were financed in an amount of 5,787.6 million lei, in line with the demands for financing, of which:
- 3,607.6 million lei – meant for the payment of social assistance payments and other payments, which according to the legislation, are financed from the state budget. They accounted for 48.9 per cent of the annual sum envisaged of 7,375.5 million lei and they are by 523.1 million lei or 17 per cent higher against the same period of the last year;
- 2,180 million lei – meant for covering the deficit of own revenues of the state social insurances budget, which accounted for 59.1 per cent of the sum seen of 3,687.7 million lei.
The overall spending of the state social insurances budget in the reported period were carried out in a sum of 11,533.7 million lei or 43.7 per cent of the annual plan established of 26,400.5 million lei.
The sum of the expenses of the state social insurances budget was by 1,612.5 million lei or by 16.3 per cent higher against the concerned index carried out in the same period of the 2020 year.
In the first five months of the last year, the overall revenues exceeded by 583.5 million lei the overall spending carried out of the state social insurances budget.
The balance of the financial means in the accounts of the National Social Insurances House stood at 583.9 million lei on 1 June 2021.
