Moldovan acting PM to pay working visit to Turkey

Chisinau, 17 June /MOLDPRES/ - Acting Prime Minister, head of the Moldovan diplomacy Aureliu Ciocoi on 17-20 June will pay a working visit to Turkey as head of Moldova’s delegation to the summit of the heads of state and government of the states participating in the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP). He will also take part in the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Heads of state and government from 13 countries will bring together in Antalya to identify new ways of cooperation in the south-eastern Europe. The main subjects due to be tackled at the anniversary summit, which marks the SEECP’s 25th anniversary, are the backing of democracy, improvement of the economic relations and the post-Covid recovery.
At the visit, the Moldovan diplomacy head will have bilateral meetings with Turkish Foreign Affairs Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Montenegrin one Đorđe Radulović, Kyrgyz diplomacy head Ruslan Kazakbaev. The officials will approach ways of boosting the bilateral political and diplomatic dialogue. In multilateral framework, the Moldovan official will have a meeting with United Nations Assistant Secretary General Miroslav Jenča.
The agenda of Moldova’s delegation will also include aspects on the regional situation and convergent measures for overcoming the global sanitary crisis.
