School graduates take Baccalaureate examination at option in Moldova

Chisinau, 18 June /MOLDPRES/ - About 16,000 school graduates today take the examination at option of the 2021 Baccalaureate session.

According to the Education, Culture and Research Ministry (MECC), 15,990 candidates will participate in the today’s exam, of whom 9,950 will take the examination in geography, 2,663 – in chemistry, 1,374 – in the History of the Romanians and Universal History, 496 – in informatics, 745 – in biology, 534 – in mathematics and 228 – in physics.

The last Baccalaureate examination will take place on 22 June, when 491 candidates will take the exam in the mother language. Thus, 200 school graduates will take the examination in the Bulgarian language, 222 – in the Gagauz language and 69 – in the Ukrainian language.

The examination tests will be checked on the period 4-26 June and the results will be posted at the Baccalaureate Centres on 27 June. The candidates for the school-leaving examination have at their disposal 48 hours for submitting contestations on 27-28 June. The final marks, after the contestations’ examination, will be announced on 4 July.
