Chisinau city hall makes repairs in 88 kindergartens

Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/- By 1 September, Chisinau city hall will complete the repair works in 88 early education institutions. 29 million 260 thousand lei were earmarked from budget to this end.

Acting head of the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sports Andrei Pavaloi said at today's online meeting of the municipal services that in 19 kindergartens the repairs have already been completed. “Statistics on repairs in the 88 early education institutions for which the Chisinau Municipal Council has allocated 29 million 260 thousand lei show as follows - in 19 kindergartens the works were completed, in 48 works for the purchase of repair services - have performed, the contracts are expected to be signed for the start of the works as soon as possible, 10 institutions are waiting for the contracting of the repair services and in 11 institutions the repair contracts have been signed ”, said Pavaloi.

According to the official, the repair works in the 88 kindergartens will be finished by the end of the summer period.

There are 126 kindergartens in Chisinau.

At the same time, Pavaloi noted that for the repair of 115 municipal educational institutions, the Chisinau Municipal Council allocated 129 million 429 thousand lei in late December 2020.
