As many as 65 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,245 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 65 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which one import case. As many as 256,734 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of the cases registered are among medical employees.

As many as 187 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 40 are in extremely serious condition (eight patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 645 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 15,795 are under supervision at home.

Another 63 people have been treated. As many as 249,706 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another three deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,194 people have died of coronavirus in all.
