Moldovan tax body collected over 22 billion lei in first half of year

Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/- National Public Budget revenues administered by the State Tax Service amounted to 22.6 billion lei (over one billion euros) in six months of this year, which shows an increase of over 3.3 billion lei or 17, 1%, compared to the same period of the previous year, the SFS has reported.

According to the institution, in five months of 2021, 9.6 billion lei were collected to state budget, up by 1.5 billion lei against the same period of 2020 or an increase of 18.3 %.

The local budgets recorded revenues were worth 2.5 billion lei, up by 464.7 million lei compared to the same period of the previous year or by 22.7%.

Also, the state social insurance budget revenues amounted to 7.8 billion lei during the mentioned period, up by one billion lei compared to the same period of the previous year or an increase of 14.8%.

At the same time, the compulsory health insurance funds accumulated 2.6 billion lei, which is 345 million lei more compared to the similar period of 2020 or 15%.
