Moldovan acting PM congratulates graduates of Academy of Public Administration

Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 156 students of the Academy of Public Administration (APP) this year ended the education and received the master diplomas at a festive ceremony of the 27th series of APP graduates, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.  

Acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi congratulated the graduates of the institution at a videoconference and urged them to turn to good account the knowledge in the service of the citizens and the common good of the country. ‘’Starting from this moment, you go a road with a special significance, a road which implies much responsibility in the public service. All those who invested trust and resources in your education hope that you will be a model of involvement in the society’s problems, acting with professionalism, impartiality, with care for the citizen and will prove an irreproachable moral conduct. I urge you to bring the change in the public administration, ensuring the efficiency, transparency and reliability at all levels,’’ the PM said.    

The acting prime minister appreciated the fact that, despite the pandemic crisis, the academic community had come up with efficient managerial solutions and the education process continued through the E-learning training platform.    

„The pandemic crisis and its consequences will pass, as vaccines have been found for it, while the social and economic crisis triggered by the pandemic will have to also find its own ‘’vaccines.’’ I express confidence that the diplomas which you have got confirm your capacity and value of future leaders, experts, managers, able to develop these ‘’vaccines’’ and generate the change,’’ the acting PM noted.  

The Academy of Public Administration Academia was founded in 1993 and has had over 6,000 graduates of master higher education in such sectors as public law, public administration, management, business and administration, anticorruption and international relations.

APP makes the state order as to the education of the staff from and for the public service within master higher education and professional development courses.
