As many as 82 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,371 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 82 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which two import ones. As many as 256,816 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), two out of all cases registered are among medical employees: 2 auxiliary staff employees.

As many as 174 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 44 are in extremely serious condition (nine patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 635 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 16,034 are under supervision at home.

Another 68 people have been treated. As many as 249,774 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
