Exhibition dedicated to Chisinau inaugurated at Constantin Brancusi exhibition centre

Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/ - An exhibition and contest of contemporary fine art titled, Chisinau-585, dedicated to the 585th anniversary of the first documented mention of the Chisinau city, was inaugurated at the Constantin Brancusi Exhibition Centre today.
The event was organized by the Fine Artists’ Union of Moldova (UAP), in cooperation with the Culture Department of the Chisinau Municipal Council.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the UAP deputy head, Florina Breazu, said that the exhibition comprised 84 works by pupils from art and fine art schools from Chisinau, Music, Theatre and Fine Arts Academy, Ion Creanga State Pedagogical University, as well as 87 panting, graphic sculpture and decorative art work, made in diverse techniques and materials of 83 members of the Moldovan Fine Artists’ Union.
The exhibition will be opened till 18 July.
