Central European initiative launched new call for projects for Moldova

Chisinau, 2 July /MOLDPRES/- Public, private and non-governmental organizations in the Republic of Moldova are invited to participate in a call for projects funded by the Central European Initiative Cooperation Fund (CEI). The CEI-funded projects involve activities to strengthen cooperation between the participating countries, the transfer and exchange of good practices, in particular from the EU member states.
Project proposals may include: conferences, training seminars, workshops and training activities, as well as assistance for the development of studies and surveys.
For activities to be implemented in the first semester of 2022, the submission of applications will be accepted on July 25 - September 30; for activities planned in the second semester of 2022, the submission of applications will take place on December 10 - February 10, 2022.
"The total budget available under this Call is 350 thousand euros. The total amount of an CEI grant can be a maximum of 15 thousand euros (50% of the total value of the project). Applicants must be public or private entities with headquarters and registration in CEI member countries (including NGOs and international / regional organizations), and the project proposal requires the participation of representatives from at least six CEI member states, ” the organisation's press release reads.
The Central European Initiative (CEI) is a flexible form of regional cooperation, bringing together nine EU member states and eight non-EU states. CEI members: Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Italy, Northern Macedonia, the Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Hungary.
