Chisinau, 2 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau deputy mayor, Victor Chironda, has not fulfilled his job duties and denigrated the image of the city hall – these are the conclusions of a working group set up to assess the work of the deputy mayor.
The working group which assessed Chironda’s activity, created under an instruction by mayor Ion Ceban, set forth its findings in an act submitted to the deputy mayor on 1 July and signed by the capital’s general mayor.
Under this document, the deputy mayor, Victor Chironda, was found guilty of groundless absence from the working place, he had disciplinary infringements, proved lack of responsibility, did not fulfill his job duties and disparaged the image of the Chisinau city hall.
For his part, deputy mayor Victor Chironda noted on social networks that ‘’these actions represent an attempt of intimidation, the goal of which is to put me to silence on the subject of the unlawful things allowed by the head of the architecture department, Svetlana Dogotaru, in the procedure of authorizing the demolition of the National Hotel, as well as concerning other infringements in the field of authorizations in constructions.’’
The Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, has earlier asked the deputy mayor to resign; otherwise, ‘’he will initiate all legal procedures for dismissal.’’
