Baccalaureate in technical vocational education passed by 88% of candidates

Chisinau, 2 July /MOLDPRES/- The results of the basic session of baccalaureate exams for graduates of post-secondary and non-tertiary post-secondary technical training programs were discussed at a meeting of the National Commission for organizing the baccalaureate exam, chaired by Minister of Education, Culture and Research Lilia Pogolsa.
According to the preliminary results, out of the 552 candidates, 487 pupils passed the exams, 88.22%.
The exams took place between June 25-29, in anticipation of these exams, the pre-tests took place on June 16 - 21. The additional session of the professional baccalaureate exams for 65 candidates is to be held on July 7.
Lilia Pogolșa thanked the managers of technical vocational education institutions, the directors of Vocational Baccalaureate Centers and all those who ensured a good conduct of the basic session, noting that these combined efforts have a single purpose, to provide students in technical vocational education the right of access in higher education to a specialty in the studied field.
The assessment tests for the professional baccalaureate exam were developed in accordance with the Exam Programs based on the subject studied by the students.
