Man detained by police after stealing pistol of employee of special purpose police brigade

Chisinau, 2 July /MOLDPRES/ - A man from Moldova’s capital has been detained by law-enforcers after he stole a pistol of an employee of the Fulger special purpose police brigade and made several shots with it.

According to the police, the man, aged 28, purloined the bag of a Fulger employee at about 20:00 on 1 July, while the latter was discussing with two persons in the Ciocana district of Chisinau. A legally owned Glock pistol was in the bag.

Law-enforcers said that the suspect has been earlier judged and is in records as drug addict. He went to fiends who were waiting for him in the yard of an apartment block and, willing to have fun, made three shots up. No person was wounded.

The Fulger employee immediately called the police, which detained the perpetrator.
