Sports hall of gymnasium from south-eastern district of Moldova to be repaired with Romania's support

Chisinau, 2 July /MOLDPRES/ - The sports hall of the Maria Biesu gymnasium from the Volintiri village, south-eastern Stefan Voda district, will be repaired due to a financial support provided by the Potlogi commune, Dambovita county, Romania.

A delegation from this settlement, which arrived in Moldova, signed an agreement on financing in Stefan Voda on 1 July. The document sees allocation of 50,000 Romanian lei (about 10,000 euros) for the reconstruction of the sports hall.

„Thank you for this essential assistance and we hope that the young generation will enjoy the improved conditions. At the same time, we thank the District Council for the financial contribution to the hall’s repair,’’ the Volintiri mayoralty noted on its webpage.

The Potlogi commune and the Volintiri village, - the native settlement of singer Maria Biesu, signed an agreement on twinning in 2016.
