Chisinau, 2 July /MOLDPRES/ - Acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi today participated in a ceremony on handing graduate diplomas to 20 out of the best students of the Faculty of International Relations, Political and Administrative Sciences (FRISPA) of the Moldovan State University (USM). Attending the event were USM Rector Igor Sarov, FRISPA dean Alexandru Solcan, the graduates of the 2021 series and their families, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The acting PM came up with a congratulatory message for the students, stressing the idea that Moldova needs well-educated young people and committed to edify the future at home.
„I am happy to see you so beautiful, young, with glittering eyes and a way opened ahead. I understand the emotions which overwhelm you; but you should know that the great university of the life starts as late as after you take your diplomas. Now, you just hold a key to multiple gates which you are to open during the life. I wish your life to bring you only pleasant surprises and fulfillment of the expectations you set,’’ Ciocoi said.
Aureliu Ciocoi urged the young graduates to study during all the life and have courage to knock at more doors, including the one of the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE), where former students of this faculty work.
„I hope much that you will be the so needed vaccine for Moldova, which is to help us overcome the interminable crises, both political and economic ones. You are the resilience generation, the generation which went through the pandemic. You have proved that you can study online too. At the ministry, we need your fresh and active powers, so that you bring a new breath to the diplomacy of Moldova,’’ the acting prime minister added.
As many as 137 diplomas today were handed to graduates of the Faculty of International Relations, Political and Administrative Sciences. Ninety five of these graduates studied at the day section and 42 – at the distance education one.
