As many as 61 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 3 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,646 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 61 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which three import ones. As many as 256,931 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all cases registered are among medical employees.

As many as 190 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 41 are in extremely serious condition (nine patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 546 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 16,239 are under supervision at home.

Another 63 people have been treated. As many as 249,888 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of one death triggered by COVID-19 and 6,195 people have died of coronavirus in all.
