As many as 39 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 4 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,086 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 39 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which one import case. As many as 256,970 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all cases registered are among medical employees.

As many as 174 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 45 are in extremely serious condition (ten patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 548 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 16,295 are under supervision at home.

Another 48 people have been treated. As many as 249,936 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of one death triggered by COVID-19 and 6,196 people have died of coronavirus in all.
