Morning rain disrupted movement of passenger traffic in Chisinau

Chisinau, 5 July /MOLDPRES/- Dozens of trolleybuses were stranded on the streets of the capital. Some arrived late and others were redirected to adjacent streets. All drivers faced traffic difficulties, the rain leaks being exceeded by the norm of rainfall.

In a statement, Regia Transport Electric Chisinau announces that, due to bad weather conditions, routes No13 and 21 run only to Meșterul Manole Street; routes 1, 3, 4, D, 35 stop; route No38 does not cross Albișoara street, it is redirected on Stefan cel Mare; urban and suburban routes are delayed by up to 15 minutes.

According to the information of the State Hydrometeorological Service, the unstable weather will remain in the country for the next few days. Rains with electric discharges, isolated accompanied by hail and storms, are expected throughout the country.
