Two environmental projects completed in Donduseni district

Chisinau, 5 July /MOLDPRES/- Two environmental projects, funded from the state budget by the National Ecological Fund, were recently completed in Donduseni district.

The first is a project, in which about 13 km of aqueduct were built, a water tower, a water tank, 16 manholes, a pumping station were installed and a sanitary area was arranged.

The Water supply networks of Dondușeni project, with a total value of about 6.1 million lei was completed in six months, and as a result, four hundred families from the locality were connected to the aqueduct and benefit from drinking water.

The second environmental program is in Plop village, the same district. Due to the project -Water supply and sewerage of Plop, about 1500 inhabitants benefit from access to the water and sewerage system.

21,303 meters of aqueduct networks were built under the project.

The total value of the investment was about 12.5 million lei. Of the total amount, about 11 million lei were allocated from the National Ecological Fund, and the rest of money was local contribution.
