34.9 billion lei accumulated in national public budget in first half of year

Chisinau, 5 July /MOLDPRES/- In January -June 2021, revenues of 34.9 billion lei / over 1 billion 635 million euros / were accumulated at the national public budget, up by 5.9 billion lei compared to the same period last year. The expenditures amounted to 38.2 billion lei, which, compared to the same period of 2020, are higher by 5.7 billion lei, the Ministry of Finance has reported.
According to the institution, the execution of the national public budget ended with a deficit of 3.3 billion lei. The balance of the funds in the accounts of the component budgets of the national public budget was 9.6 billion lei.
"The revenues of the state budget in the first 6 months of 2021 amounted to 21.5 billion lei. Compared to the same period last year, they increased by 4 billion lei. Revenues administered by the State Fiscal Service amounted to 9.6 billion lei, 1.5 billion lei more than the respective period of 2020, and revenues administered by the Customs Service amounted to 12.6 billion lei, up by 2.7 billion lei compared to the same period last year ", the Ministry of Finance said.
State budget expenditures were executed worth 26.3 billion lei, up by 4 billion lei, compared to the same period last year. The execution of the state budget ended with a deficit in amounting to 4.8 billion lei and is at the same level as the similar period of the previous year. The balance of funds in the state budget accounts amounted to 5.9 billion lei.
The state budget for 2021 was approved on revenues of 41415400,0 thousand lei and expenses amounting to 55399600.0 thousand lei, with a deficit of 13984200.0 thousand lei.
