As many as 65 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 5 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,481 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 65 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which one import case. As many as 257,035 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all cases registered is among medical employees.

As many as 175 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 46 are in extremely serious condition (nine patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 550 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 16,309 are under supervision at home.

Another 42 people have been treated. As many as 249,978 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of one death triggered by COVID-19 and 6,197 people have died of coronavirus in all.
