Moldovan electoral body warned repeatedly Labor Party of failure to present financial report

Chisinau, 6 July /MOLDPRES/- CEC warned today the Political Party Noi (We), the Political Party People's Power and the Labor Party on the obligation to meet the deadline for submitting reports on financing election campaign.
The Central Electoral Commission examined and took note of the information set out in the reports on financing the electoral campaign for the snap parliamentary elections of 11 July 2021, as of 25 June of the following candidates:
- Electoral bloc of Communists and Socialists,
- Home Building Europe PACE,
- Political Party Joint Action - Civic Congress,
- RENATO USATÎI electoral bloc,
- Action and Solidarity Party,
- Shor Party,
- Democratic Party of Moldova,
- Dignity and Truth Platform Party,
- National Unity Party,
- Democracy at Home Party,
- Development and Consolidation of Moldova Party,
- Political Party ALLIANCE FOR THE UNION OF ROMANIANS,
- Political Party WE
- Green Ecologist Party,
- Party of Law and Justice,
- People's Power Party,
- Labor Party,
- PARTY OF CHANGE.
At the same time, the Commission repeatedly warned the Labor Party not to present the financial report as of June 18, 2021 and obliged the party to present it within 24 hours or, as appropriate, to inform the Commission of the non-collection of revenue and failure to make expenses for the reporting period.
In the context of examining the reports on the financing of the electoral campaign for next Sunday's election, the CEC will send to the State Tax Service the list of donor individuals in the country to verify the sources of donations.
