More than 5,000 people call ambulance in Moldova in last days

Chisinau, 6 July /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 5,635 calls for providing emergency medical assistance were registered at the Dispatching Department of the National Centre of Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance on 2-4 July.
According to data by the Centre, the most frequent calls were cardiovascular emergencies – 989, of whom 32 patients with acute coronary syndrome. A number of 786 cases represented neurology emergencies, of which 84 cerebral vascular accidents, followed by respiratory emergencies – 767, of which 401 for reasons of acute viral respiratory infections.
As many as 643 calls were traumatology emergencies. The ambulance’s intervention was asked for 29 people hit in the wake of traffic accidents. Sixty one calls were infectious emergencies and 27 calls were on grounds of toxic emergencies.
