Overall rate of successful passage of examinations from Baccalaureate 2021 is over 73 per cent in Moldova

Chisinau, 6 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Education, Culture and Research Ministry (MECC) has informed that, following the consideration of appeals after the basic sessions of the baccalaureate examinations, the overall rate of successful passage of the exams grew by 0.72 percentage points and stood at 73.05 per cent.
„The number of candidates who successfully passed the national Baccalaureate examination increased by 117 after the appeals’ consideration and is 11,844, against 11,803 in 2019. A number of 9,635 out of the 11,844 graduates are candidates from lyceums, 2,003 are from colleges and centres of excellence, 95 candidates come from universities, 88 are candidates registered in externship regime and 23 – candidates who failed to pass all exams at the previous sessions,’’ MECC said.
As compared to the data from 2019, of the same phase of the session, the rate of successful passage of examinations from the candidates from lyceums grew by 0.06 percentage points and the overall rate of the national Baccalaureate examination increased by about 4.3 percentage points.
