Moldovan electoral body registers last electoral observers

Chisinau, 6 July /MOLDPRES/ - The parliamentary elections due on 11 July will be monitored by 2,436 observers.

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today confirmed the last observers for the monitoring of the 11 July 2021 snap parliamentary polls. Thus, 2,436 observers accredited by CEC will monitor the next Sunday ballot.

A number of 1,800 national observers out of all observers represent six public associations from Moldova. Also, the elections will be monitored by 636 international observers, who represent 17 diplomatic missions accredited in Moldova, 30 international electoral experts on behalf of 11 foreign electoral authorities and 606 representatives of 14 international organizations.

Twenty three electoral contenders will participate in the 11 July snap parliamentary elections.
