Average mark got at Baccalaureate examination in Moldova higher against last years

Chisinau, 6 July /MOLDPRES/ - The final results of the national Baccalaureate examination, basic session, following appeals’ consideration, shows that the average mark got by graduates at the exam is higher. As for the candidates from lyceums, the average of the marks got at the national Baccalaureate examination is 7.28, against 7.14 in 2019, the Education, Culture and Research Ministry (MECC) has reported.
According to the institution, there are 6,751 graduates with the average mark higher or equal to 7, unlike 6,021 in 2019; 3,190 candidates have the average mark higher or equal to 8, unlike 2,526 in 2019; 821 candidates have average mark higher or equal to 9, unlike 595 in 2019 and 18 candidates have an average mark of 10, the same number as in 2019.
The additional session of the national Baccalaureate examination will be held on 19-26 July. The preliminary results after the additional session will be announced at the Baccalaureate Centres on 28 July and the final results, following the appeals’ consideration, will be announced on 2 August.
MECC and the National Agency for Curriculum and Evaluation express gratitude for the effort made by the people in charge of the organization of the basic session of the Baccalaureate examination and thank them for cooperation.
