As many as 70 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 6 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,397 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 70 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which six import ones (Russia). As many as 257,105 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), three out all cases registered are among medical employees: one physician and two medical assistants.

As many as 214 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 52 are in extremely serious condition (ten patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

Another 64 people have been treated. As many as 250,042 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

In the context, 546 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 16,169 are under supervision at home.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of three deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,200 people have died of coronavirus in all.
