Young woman from Vulcănești brought by SMURD helicopter to capital after surgery

Chisinau, 11 July /MOLDPRES/- This morning, an SMURD Galați aero-medical crew, Romania, carried out an air mission to transport a 31-year-old woman from Vulcanesti to Chisinau, following the deterioration of her health after a surgery.

According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the young woman was taken from the district hospital in Vulcănești and transported by helicopter to Chisinau. During the flight, the woman was monitored by a crew of SMURD Romania doctors and paramedics.

In Chisinau, the helicopter landed on the Dinamo stadium, from where the patient was taken by the Aviasan Republican Service and transported to the Mother and Child Institute for further medical care.

IGSU statistics show that since the beginning of this year this is the seventh aero-medical operation performed for the citizens of the Republic of Moldova.
