Moldovan journalist, essayist would have turned 70 years

Chisinau, 12 July /MOLDPRES/- Journalist, essayist and writer Petru Bogatu, political analyst, editorialist, professor at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences of the State University of Moldova would have turned 70 today.
From 1995 to 2000 he was named the most popular journalist in the Republic of Moldova. According to the guide "50 + 1 journalists", Petru Bogatu's editorials are considered a reference model in the media in the Republic of Moldova.
In 2009, he was awarded the Order of the Republic and in 2014 - Cultural Merit Order, in the rank of Commander of Romania.
Petru Bogatu passed away on March 22, 2020 and was buried at the St. Lazar Cemetery in Chisinau.
