Only three electoral contenders meet threshold after processing of 95 per cent of reports in Moldova

Chisinau, 12 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has processed 2,044 official reports out of the overall number of 2,150. According to data unveiled, only three political formations meet the electoral threshold: the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), electoral bloc of the Communists and Socialists (BECS) and the Shor Party.

Preliminary data shows that PAS picks up 48.08 percent of the votes, BECS – 30.66 per cent and the Short Party – 6.43 per cent.

The electoral bloc Renato Usatii grabbed 4.31 per cent of the votes, the Dignity and Truth Platform Party – 2.41 per cent, and the Democratic Party – 2.01 per cent. Another two political formations, the Building Europe at Home Party and the Democracy at Home Party have results of more than 1 per cent.

The other electoral contenders got less than one per cent of the votes.
