Moldovan president meets Swiss Confederation ambassador

Chisinau, 13 July /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu held a meeting with Ambassador of Swiss Confederation to Moldova Claude Wild and Head of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Chisinau Caroline Tissot, the presidential press service has reported.
The president thanked for the lasting partnership between the countries. Switzerland is one of the main development partners of the Republic of Moldova for over 20 years.
"Among priorities we discussed the need to sign a Social Protection Agreement, increase the volume of trade, launch partnerships between local public authorities and the possibility of recognizing vaccination certificates against Covid-19, issued by the Republic of Moldova. I voiced hope that with the new government, we will be able to increase bilateral cooperation, and Moldova will remain a priority for Swiss development programs ", said Maia Sandu.
The officials also discussed projects carried out by Switzerland in regional development in Moldova, job creation or health, which are extremely useful for citizens.
