Project on online admission to vocational education institutions launched in Moldova

Chisinau, 13 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Education, Culture and Research Ministry (MECC) has launched a pilot project, Module of eAdmission to vocational education institutions within the Information System on Management in Education.
The goal of organizing the online admission contest is to contribute to shortening the time for submitting the files by aspirants, optimize the work of the admission commissions, clear-cut and singe structuring of the information on the admission process, shortening the time for approval of the results of the admission contest and their transparency, as well as the quick access to the data and information from the system.
The module will be exploited at the admission contest, 2021 session, and seven vocational education institutions will be involved in the piloting phase of the system.
The concerned module was developed within the ShiftEdu project titled, Digital competences for employment in modern economy, by the Austrian company Cristalion-Plus, implemented by the PRO DIDACTICA Education Centre, with the support of the Austrian Development Agency, through the Programme on Austrian Development Cooperation. The goal of the project is to integrate the information and communication technologies (ITC) in the vocational education, through the: enhancement of the support provided to managers, improving teachers’ digital competences, development of the digital content for certain professions and specialties, proper endowment of institutions, for the carrying out of a qualitative education process.
The implementation of the eAdmission Module is part of the process of modernization and digitalization of the vocational education.
