As many as 59 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 13 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,659 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 59 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, including five import ones. As many as 257,588 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all cases registered is among medical employees.

As many as 221 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 52 are in extremely serious condition (12 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 562 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 18,056 are under supervision at home.

Another 56 people have been treated. As many as 250,545 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of three deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,214 people have died of coronavirus in all.
