Moldovan tax body registered about nine thousand leases in first half year

Chisinau, 14 July /MOLDPRES/- The State Tax Service (SFS) announced that in January - June 2021, 8,612 leases / rents were registered. Also, as a result of the actions taken by the employees of the Tax Office, 3,069 individuals were identified who lease / rent real estate.

According to SFS, for 448 individuals, who lease real estate and did not comply with legal provisions, were calculated additionally for payment to the budget: basic payments - 483.2 thousand lei, penalties - 39.1 thousand of lei and fines - 79.3 thousand lei.

The persons are obliged, within three days from the date of concluding the contract, to register it with the SFS. This tax is paid monthly, at the latest on the 25th of the current month, in the manner set by the SFS.
