Moldovan public sector employees to have mini-holiday in late next August

Chisinau, 14 July /MOLDPRES/ - The acting cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, ruled that the day of 30 August 2021 is regarded as day-off and 21 August – working day.

„The day of 30 August 2021 is regarded as day-off and the day of 21 August 2021 – working day, for the public authorities and institutions. The ministries and other central administrative authorities will provide an efficient activity of the subordinated units on the day regarded as working,’’ the cabinet decision reads.

Thus, the public sector employees will have a mini-holiday in late next August, between 27 and 31 August, when Moldova marks the Independence Day (27 August) and Our Romanian Language (31 August).

The present decision has a character of recommendations for the units of the real sector of the national economy.
