As many as 90 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 14 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,423 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 90 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which seven import ones. As many as 257,678 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), one of all cases registered is among medical employees.

As many as 227 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 55 are in extremely serious condition (11 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 561 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 18,033 are under supervision at home.

Another 83 people have been treated. As many as 250,628 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another three deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,217 people have died of coronavirus in all.
