Moldova's National Social Insurances House says families with small children can take allowances

Chisinau, 15 July /MOLDPRES/ - The National Social Insurances House (CNAS) today informed that financial means had been transferred for the payment of allowances.
According to the quoted source, 28.3 million lei was transferred for the one-off child-birth allowances; 29.8 million lei – allowances for bringing up children till the age of two years to non-insured people; 121.9 million lei – allowances for bringing up children to insured people; 1.2 million lei – allowances for bringing up of twins and 2.1 million lei - for paternal allowances.
Under the schedule established, since early July so far, transfers worth 1,839.91 million lei has been made for social benefits, such as: compensations, pensions and social allocations, social benefit and unemployment benefit, lifetime allowances to sportspeople and coaches, benefit for the cold period of the year.
To receive the money, beneficiaries are to appeal to the institution where they opened the bank account. If the beneficiary does not have bank card, the money can be taken at any post office.
