As many as 88 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 15 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 4,791 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 88 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which four import ones. As many as 257,766 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), one of all cases registered is among medical employees.

As many as 159 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 49 are in extremely serious condition (10 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 542 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 18,073 are under supervision at home.

Another 91 people have been treated. As many as 250,719 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another two deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,219 people have died of coronavirus in all.
