Sheriff Tiraspol football team to play match in Champions League

Chisinau, 20 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Sheriff Tiraspol football team today will play against Alashkert Yerevan in the second preliminary round of the Champions League. It the Tiraspol team wins, it will qualify for the groups of the European cup.
The return match is scheduled for 28 July in Tiraspol.
If it qualifies for the next stage of the competition, the Tiraspol team will ensure at least the participation in the phase of groups of Europa Conference League. It is worth mentioning that, if the team Sheriff Tiraspol accedes to the third preliminary round of the Champions League, it will play with the winner of the match between Kayrat Almaty and Red Star Belgrade.
