Chisinau, 22 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today paid a working visit to the central Ialoveni district - a dynamic district, with people who actively get involved in the life of the communities where they live, the presidential press service has reported.
„At the meetings I had, I discussed with entrepreneurs and physicians from the district, education sector and public administration employees about the changes which should start in Moldova with the swearing in office of the parliament elected on 11 July and the new government,’’ Maia Sandu said.
At the discussions, the head of state noted that Moldova needed order, which is to bring us well-being. ‘’I will insist that each state institution is evaluated based on results and the abusive controls must be ceased. We will keep a close eye on the leaders from all levels, so that the things are made correctly and we will not allow the civil servants to embezzle the public money and mock at the citizens,’’ the president stressed.
Also, Maia Sandu expressed firm confidence that Moldova can get out of poverty, if we have more prosperous businesses, labour force adapted to the market’s requirements and a competitive agriculture. ‘’Even if we do not solve all problems overnight, a serious approach and maximal correctness will yield the results so much expected by the citizens,’’ the Moldovan president added.
