Moldovan parliament to be summoned on 26 July

Chisinau, 23 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today signed the Decree on the summoning of the Moldovan Parliament of the 11th legislative period. The first parliament meeting will be held on 26 July starting from 10:00, the presidential press service has reported.

„The election of the leadership bodies of the parliament and the swearing in office of a new government comes next. There are many and complex problems, we have no time to lose. I hope that the new parliament will manage to quickly recover the citizens’ trust in this important institution through correct and courageous decisions, which will cease the corruption and improve the people’s living standards,’’ President Maia Sandu said.
