As many as 119 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 23 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,959 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 119 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which seven import ones. As many as 258,484 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none out of all new cases registered today is among medical employees.

As many as 250 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 52 are in extremely serious condition (eight patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 606 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 21,060 are under supervision at home.

Another 105 people have been treated. As many as 251,347 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another four deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,240 people have died of coronavirus in all.
