Moldovan lawmaker hit by accident in Bulgaria

Chisinau, 26 July /MOLDPRES/ - An MP of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), Oazu Nantoi, was hit by an accident in Bulgaria in the last week-end. The head of the PAS press service, Aurica Rusnac Jardan, has confirmed the information for MOLDPRES.
According to the quoted source, the newly elected lawmaker got into an accident in Bulgaria and was taken over by a crew of the Mobile Emergency Service for Resuscitation and Extrication (SMURD, based in Romania) and brought to Chisinau. ‘’The MP’s condition is stable,’’ Jardan said.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the spokeswoman of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situation, Liliana Puscasu, said that the SMURD crew had left for Bulgaria on 24 July and returned today morning at 3:00.
The MP was hit by an injury in the Montana region of Bulgaria. The land cross-border intervention was carried out by a crew of SMURD physicians and para-physicians with a C1-type ambulance. During the journey, the person was strictly monitored by a qualified team, without having complications. The lawmaker was hospitalized at the Chisinau-based Emergency Medicine Institute.
According to the first information, it seems to be about a parachuting accident, Oazu Nantoi acting as deputy head of the Moldovan Parachuting Federation. MP Oazu Nantoi is 73 years old and is fond of parachuting, which he has been practicing since 1966 and made a break of 31 years till 2004.
