Lyceum from south Moldova city subjected to energy optimization with assistance of Agency for Energy Efficiency

Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Mihai Eminescu theoretical lyceum from the southern Cahul city has been subjected to energy optimization with the support of the Agency for Energy Efficiency (AEE). Thus, the staff of the institution will benefit from better conditions and the spending for heat will decrease.

Three basic measures were carried out within the project: replacement of windows and exterior doors, thermal insulation of the exterior doors and thermal insulation of ceilings.

“These actions prompted savings of energy worth de 475, 336 kWh per year, financial savings amounting to 324,000 lei annually and cutting the emissions of CO2 by 96 tons per year. The overall value of the project amounted to 4 million 543,000 lei,’’ AEE said.
