Moldovan president pays working visit to northern Drochia district

Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today paid a working visit to the northern region, Drochia district, the presidential press service has reported.  

„Now, after the elections, people’s wishes should be materialized in concrete actions of the future government and the meetings we have in Moldova’s villages and cities help us make a better picture about the citizens’ expectations,’’ Maia Sandu said.  

The head of state discussed with the mayors and leaders of agricultural enterprises from the Drochia district, teachers and physicians about Moldova’s immediate priorities. ’’I am sure that together we will be able to change the things for the better. To make proper order in the country and start projects for the development of communities, with emphasis on infrastructure, competitive agriculture and reducing the impact of the climate changes, education and health,’’ the Moldovan president stressed.         

She noted that the people had gone to vote for order and justice, for a better living. ‘’To carry out these things, much effort and correctness is needed on behalf of each of us, on behalf of each state’s institution, centrally and locally,’’ Maia Sandu added.
