Chisinau, 28 July /MOLDPRES/ - A road to the public institutions from the Larga Noua village, southern Cahul district, has been rehabilitated due to a project titled, Illuminated village – modernized village. The project is implemented by the local action group Valea Halmagei from European Union’s funds. Due to the project, the village residents benefit from a paved and illuminated alley of more than one kilometer, according to the regional media.
„The concerned project is an opportunity for all residents of the Larga Noua village to have a better living. It connects all public institutions from the village, the kindergarten and the gymnasium and, at the same time, allows the supply with electric energy of the water-purifying station under construction. Or, it is about two projects which develop concomitantly, ‘’ said the mayor of settlement, Tatiana Maidan, quoted by the website www.ziuadeazi.md
The alley is in the immediate neighbourhood of a playground for children, demanded by the local residents. The need to arrange this alley was pointed out by the citizens from the area, who daily go this road to the kindergarten or school. Citizens say the alley’s illumination will give them safety especially on the cold period of the year, when the days are shorter.
