Moldova's Border Police start preparations for parade

Chisinau, 28 July /MOLDPRES/ - Seventy employees of the Border Police as of today start training for the military parade dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of Moldova’s Independence.
According to the institution’s press service, the trainings daily take place in the Ungheni city.
On 27 July, the National Army’s leadership informed that the trainings for the parade had begun. According to the commander of the National Army, Igor Gorgan, military from the garrisons of Balti, Chisinau and Cahul, Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy, as well as a group of veterans of the 1992 Transnistria War for the defence of Moldova’s integrity and independence will participate in the parade on 27 August.
The joint trainings with the strength of the structures involved in the parade (Defence Ministry, Interior Ministry and Intelligence and Security Service) will take place under the bridge of the Hancesti highway, Telecentru district of Chisinau, in next August. The general rehearsals will be held on the Great National Assembly Square in the second ten-day period of August.
The decree on the holding of the military parade occasioned by the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of Moldova’s Independence was signed by President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Maia Sandu and published in the Official Journal on 23 July.
