Six passengers to be placed in quarantine after presenting forged COVID tests at border in Moldova

Chisinau, 28 July /MOLDPRES/ - Six passengers will be placed in quarantine, after they have presented forged tests for Covid while crossing the border. The tests were raised by the border policemen and sent to the technical and legal laboratory for expertise.
According to the Border Police, those six documents with visible signs of falsification were identified on 27 July and the entrance into Moldova. Three of them were taken from two citizens of Romania at the border crossing point Lipcani-Radauti Prut and one Moldovan fellow countryman, who were returning from Germany. Upon being heard, the three passengers said that they had given the analyses necessary for the issuance of the concerned documents; afterwards, they recognized that they additionally paid 50 euros each for getting the results quickly.
One Ukrainian citizen is also documented for presenting a forged test. The act would have been issued by a medical laboratory from Ukraine. During the control, the border policeman found non-characteristic signs and after the act was additionally examined, its untruthfulness was confirmed. Also, two spouses from Sangerei wanted to cross the frontier through the Sculeni border crossing point and during the verifications, they were informed about the falsification of the tests presented.
All tests were raised and submitted to the technical and legal laboratory for carrying out the expertise and the people were placed in quarantine.
