First new buses brought to Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 29 July /MOLDPRES/ - Five new ISUZU buses out of the 100, purchased by the Chisinau city hall, were brought to the Moldovan capital on 28 July. Another 95 buses will be brought till late 2021.
“What seemed to be impossible for some people one year ago, comes true,’’ the Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, has written on social networks. Ceban noted that another 28 transport units would arrive soon and the rest would be brought till the end of this year.
According to the mayor, the vehicles meet the highest quality standards and have a guarantee term of 6.5 years – a period when the producer will provide also the maintenance of the transport units. The overall cost of those 100 buses is of about 12.5 million euros.
At the same time, the Chisinau mayor said that, in the end of this week, ten VDL buses would be delivered from the Netherlands out of the consignment of 58 buses with distance covered, purchased by the city hall.
Eighteen VOLVO and MAN from Norway have reached the Urban Park of Buses from Chisinau so far. The first four buses have been already distributed on various routes and suburbs, where the need of the public transport is great.
